Outcrop Silver Delivers Exceptional Drill Results at Santa Ana Silver Project

Outcrop Silver & Gold Corporation (OCG) is thrilled to announce exceptional results from its ongoing 2024 exploration drilling program at its 100% owned Santa Ana high-grade primary silver project in Colombia. The drilling campaign continues to deliver impressive results along the robust Aguilar vein system, confirming the project’s vast potential for resource growth.

Recent drilling has successfully tested the Jimenez and Guadual targets, confirming the continuity of the Aguilar vein system for a significant 1.5 kilometers along strike and 200 meters down-dip. The company is currently operating two drill rigs at the Aguilar vein system and plans to commence drilling at the promising Los Mangos and La Ye targets in the coming months.

Drilling Highlights

* Drill hole DH388 intercepted 1.3 meters, returning 888 grams per tonne silver equivalent at the Aguilar vein system.
* Drill hole DH391 intercepted 0.30 meters with 3,043 grams per tonne silver, confirming the depth continuity of high-grade mineralization seen at surface on the Jimenez vein.

These latest results build upon the impressive findings from previous drilling at the Aguilar vein system. The drilling to date has confirmed continuity through step-outs along 1.5 kilometers, showcasing the potential for multiple mineralized shoots.

Guillermo Hernandez, Vice President of Exploration, expressed his enthusiasm about the project’s progress, stating, “We’re thrilled to be pushing further into the southern extensions of the Santa Ana vein system. With each drill hole, we’re unlocking high-grade silver at depth, confirming our strategy and setting the stage for future resource growth. The results so far have been exceptional, consistently delivering high-grade intercepts and pointing us toward even richer mineral shoots. It’s an exciting time as we turn these targets into discoveries for future tangible mineral resources.”

The company’s exploration efforts are strategically focused on confirming the presence of a mineral shoot in the northern section of the Aguilar target and the Jimenez area below the 700-meter elevation. To date, a significant twenty-one holes have been completed at the Aguilar target, with results still pending for one hole. Additionally, eight drill holes have been completed at the Guadual zone and two at the Jimenez target, representing substantial progress in the exploration efforts.

Jimenez and Guadual Targets

The Jimenez vein, characterized by parallel and subparallel veins with significant historical workings, has a confirmed strike length of 500 meters. Previous exploration has uncovered high-grade silver and gold mineralization with assay results of up to 2,903 g/t AgEq and 2,010 g/t AgEq.

The Guadual vein, located in the northern part of the Aguilar vein system, boasts a confirmed strike length of 700 meters. It exhibits complex vein structures with multiple parallel and intersecting veins. Significant silver and gold values have been identified in quartz veins and shear zones, with notable assays reaching up to 1,172 g/t silver and 7.78 g/t gold.

About Santa Ana

The Santa Ana project, encompassing 27,000 hectares within the Mariquita District of Colombia, is recognized as the largest and highest-grade primary silver district in the country. Mining records at Santa Ana date back to 1585, highlighting its historical significance.

The maiden resource estimate for Santa Ana, as outlined in the NI 43-101 Technical Report, indicates an estimated indicated resource of 24.2 million ounces silver equivalent at a grade of 614 grams per tonne and an inferred resource of 13.5 million ounces at a grade of 435 grams per tonne. These resources span seven major vein systems, including multiple parallel veins and ore shoots.

The 2024 drilling campaign is focused on extending known mineralization and testing new high-potential areas along the project’s extensive 30-kilometer mineralized trend. This exploration strategy aims to demonstrate a clear pathway to substantially expand the project’s resources, highlighting the scalability of Santa Ana and its potential for significant resource growth. The project is poised to develop into a high-grade, economically viable, and environmentally responsible silver mine.
