Padma Awards, one of India’s highest civilian honors, were conferred upon 132 recipients, including five Padma Vibhushan, 17 Padma Bhushan, and 110 Padma Shri awards. The awards recognize exceptional contributions in various fields, including art, social work, science, and industry. Among the prominent recipients were former vice president M Venkaiah Naidu, founder of Sulabh International Bindeshwar Pathak (posthumously), renowned Bharatanatyam dancer Padma Subrahmanyam, actor Mithun Chakraborty, and singer Usha Uthup. The ceremony was graced by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and other dignitaries.
