Convicted paedophile Fred Talbot has made a rare public appearance after being released from prison.
Talbot was sentenced to nine years in prison in 2015 for indecent exposure and abuse of 10 boys. He was released in 2019 after serving less than half of his sentence.
The 74-year-old former Granada TV weather presenter and teacher was seen leaving a Waitrose supermarket in Cheshire and placing groceries in his Jaguar.
Talbot’s appearance at the supermarket didn’t seem to faze shoppers, who were also out and about in the county.
His outing comes four years after Talbot was seen drinking booze alone in a local pub, just one mile from the school he previously worked at.
