Paramount+ has expanded its ‘A Mountain of Pride’ collection, a curated selection of LGBTQ+-themed movies and TV shows, in honor of Pride Month. The collection features 12 carousels with programming designed to spotlight the contributions and experiences of the LGBTQ+ community.
Among the featured films in the ‘Movie Marathon’ section are the Elton John biopic ‘Rocketman,’ the musical comedy ‘Mean Girls,’ and the lesbian-themed teen comedy ‘But I’m a Cheerleader.’ Standout TV shows, including ‘Fellow Travelers,’ ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race,’ and ‘Yellowjackets,’ can be found under the ‘Essential Series’ banner.
Other carousels in the collection include ‘Moments of Pride,’ ‘Real Stories & Reality,’ ‘All Hail the Queens,’ ‘Summer’s Camp Classics,’ and ‘Iconic Fashion Moments.’
Paramount+ has also partnered with the Human Rights Campaign and Showtime to support ‘Queer to Stay: An LGBTQ+ Business Preservation Initiative,’ which aims to empower and preserve LGBTQ+-owned small businesses across the country.
The expanded ‘A Mountain of Pride’ collection is now live on Paramount+.
