Park Circle is gearing up for an exciting celebration this June with the return of Park Circle Pride. Over the course of a week, nearly 40 events will take place across the North Charleston neighborhood, promising a vibrant and inclusive festival atmosphere.
The festival, presented by Vive Le Rock Productions—the same company behind the annual Park Circle Rockabillaque—will feature a range of activities designed to celebrate and support the LGBTQ+ community. This year’s lineup includes drag brunches, poetry open mics, comedy shows, happy hours, and pageants, with events hosted at various venues throughout Park Circle.
While most events are free, some require tickets. Among these are the LGBTQ+ Comedy Night, Queer Adult Prom, and a presentation of “Rocky Horror Picture Show.” These special events offer unique experiences that promise to be memorable highlights of the festival.
The festival kicks off on June 4 with the Raising of the Pride Flag at Commonhouse Aleworks, followed by a range of activities including a Pride Burger special at Sesame and a Boozy Book Fair at Holy City Brewing. Each day features multiple events, ensuring there is something for everyone.
