The Parma City Schools district last successfully passed an operating levy in 2011. Subsequent attempts in 2017 and 2018 were unfortunately defeated by voters. However, at a recent work session, district officials indicated that they are considering placing a new 6.88-mill emergency operating levy on the ballot for the fall election. This levy, if approved, would provide critical funding for the district’s operations, enabling it to maintain the high quality of education that Parma City Schools is known for. The district is working diligently to ensure that voters are fully informed about the levy and its importance for the future of education in Parma.
