PathFinder Digital has secured another significant contract, this time from the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC), for the delivery of its Global Broadcast Service (GBS) line of satellite terminals. This news comes shortly after the company received a similar award from the USAF, demonstrating the growing demand for PathFinder’s innovative solutions in the military communications space.
PathFinder’s solution, the BAT-GBS-85, operates across X, Ka, and Ku bands and is compact enough to be transported in two standard airline checkable cases. Within the GBS program, the BAT-GBS-85 is known as the TGRT, or Transportable Ground Receive Terminal. The GBS program itself is designed to provide a robust broadcast capability, enabling the timely delivery of data and video products for mission support and in-theater information transfer.
“It is gratifying to see PathFinder’s BAT-GBS-85 terminal (TGRT) get such wide acceptance and deployment within the US Armed Forces. Its reliability, low cost, and ease of operation are clearly appreciated,” says Roger McGarrahan, CEO of PathFinder Digital LLC.
