The New England Patriots are actively seeking reinforcements for their tight end position. According to ESPN’s Mike Reiss, the team recently conducted tryouts for three veteran free agents: Mitchell Wilcox, Brycen Hopkins, and Sean McKeon. Among the trio, Wilcox is reportedly the favorite, but no contract has been finalized. Wilcox has accumulated 29 receptions, 211 yards, and a touchdown in 48 games with the Cincinnati Bengals over the past three seasons. Hopkins, during his stint with the Los Angeles Rams, recorded 13 catches in 39 games, while McKeon notched six receptions in 45 career appearances for the Dallas Cowboys. Currently, the Patriots’ tight end depth chart consists of Hunter Henry, Austin Hooper, and La’Michael Pettway.
