The Patriots have conducted a pre-draft evaluation of linebacker Cam Gill, according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss. Gill, 26, joined the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2020 and played for the Buccaneers during his first four seasons. A Lisfranc injury sidelined him for the entire 2022 campaign.
Despite limited defensive snaps, Gill has been a valuable special teams contributor throughout his 40 career games. He has accumulated 29 total tackles, including one for loss, four quarterback hits, 2.5 sacks, and one forced fumble.
