Pegasus Airlines Launches Direct Flights from Cologne to Gaziantep, Turkey

Pegasus Airlines has inaugurated direct flights from Cologne Bonn Airport to Gaziantep, Turkey, expanding its offerings to the southeastern Turkish city. The airline’s inaugural flight to Gaziantep took off on June 20th, with weekly Thursday services scheduled for the future.

This new route marks a significant addition to the airport’s flight network, reflecting the growing popularity of Turkey as a travel destination. “Turkey is a key target market for passengers at our airport – both for holiday travellers and for passengers visiting family and friends there,” says Thilo Schmid, CEO of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH. “We are therefore delighted that the direct connection from Pegasus Airlines to Gaziantep means that the range of flights to Turkey is now even more extensive.”

Gaziantep, a major city in southeastern Turkey, boasts a rich history spanning over 5,000 years. Visitors can explore the city’s vibrant past through its numerous historical sites, including the Archaeological Museum, which houses an impressive collection of ancient artifacts. Gaziantep is also home to the Zeugma Mosaic Museum, renowned for its extensive display of Roman mosaics. Dominating the skyline, Gaziantep’s iconic citadel sits proudly atop a central hill.
