On Sunday afternoon, a pickup truck crashed into a house in Calgary’s southern district, resulting in three individuals being transported to the hospital. The Calgary Fire Department (CFD) reported the collision occurred at approximately 3 p.m. While the CFD did not specify the nature of the injuries sustained by the hospitalized individuals, they are believed to be minor.
A fire official stated that it appeared the truck breached a fence before colliding with the residence located at Bridlecrest Boulevard and 162nd Avenue Southwest. However, it remains unclear to what extent the house was damaged and what caused the truck to enter the property. It is also unknown whether the driver will be charged. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
