According to NASA, the Pink Moon derives its name from the herb moss pink, a native plant that flourishes in the eastern United States and heralds the arrival of spring. Other names associated with this celestial body include Egg Moon, Sprouting Grass Moon, and Fish Moon. The lunar orb entered its full phase on Monday and will continue to appear complete until Thursday morning. Notably, the next full moon, known as the ‘Flower Moon,’ is anticipated to grace the night sky on May 23rd. Its full phase will span three days, commencing on Tuesday, May 21st, and concluding early Friday evening.
