PM Modi Accuses Congress of Promising Unconstitutional Religious Reservations

In his speech, Prime Minister Modi emphasized that the Indian Constitution explicitly prohibits reservations based on religion. However, he asserted that Congress has pledged to implement such reservations in its election manifesto, a decision that he deems unconstitutional. Modi strongly condemned this promise, accusing Congress of betraying the legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, who played a pivotal role in drafting the Indian Constitution.

Furthermore, Modi alleged that Congress has sinister intentions to seize people’s wealth. He warned that the party will employ invasive methods, akin to an X-ray examination, to uncover hidden financial assets. Modi’s accusations have sparked significant controversy, with Congress leaders vehemently refuting the allegations and defending their party’s stance on reservations. The ongoing debate is expected to intensify as the election campaign progresses.
