During his visit to Italy, Prime Minister Modi held discussions with several world leaders on various topics, including defense, sustainability, and strategic partnerships. He also held a bilateral meeting with his Italian counterpart, Giorgia Meloni, where they discussed ways to further strengthen India-Italy relations in areas such as commerce, energy, defense, and telecommunications.
In a post on Twitter, Prime Minister Modi thanked Prime Minister Meloni for inviting India to the G7 Summit and for the warm hospitality extended to him during his visit.
