Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed pride in the achievements of Padma Shri recipients at the Civil Investiture Ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The ceremony honored individuals for their exceptional contributions in diverse fields, including art, social work, public service, and science. President Droupadi Murmu presented the prestigious awards to 3 Padma Vibhushan, 8 Padma Bhushan, and 55 Padma Shri recipients.
After the ceremony, Union Home Minister Amit Shah hosted a dinner for the Padma Awardees at his residence in New Delhi. The awardees will also pay homage at the National War Memorial and visit Rashtrapati Bhavan and the Pradhan Mantri Sangrahalaya. This event highlights the government’s recognition of individuals who have made significant contributions to the nation and society.
