PM Modi Inaugurates Projects Worth ₹6,700 Crore in Varanasi: Key Announcements & Initiatives

In a landmark initiative for his parliamentary constituency, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for 23 major development projects valued at ₹6,700 crore in Varanasi on Sunday, October 20. These projects aim to enhance infrastructure, improve essential services, and elevate the quality of life for the residents of Varanasi.

The announcement took place at the Sports Complex in Sigra, emphasizing the importance of investment in sports and recreation. Earlier that day, PM Modi also inaugurated the RJ Sankara Eye Hospital, a vital facility dedicated to providing high-quality eye care to the local community.

During the inauguration, PM Modi remarked, “Today is an important day for Kashi. The RJ Sankara Eye Hospital will greatly assist the elderly and children.” This statement reflects his commitment to ensuring accessible healthcare, particularly for vulnerable populations.
