Due to the visionary leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Uttar Pradesh is poised to emerge as a prominent hub for self-reliance in India. Addressing a public gathering in Aligarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi heaped praise on Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for his transformative governance in the state.
Modi emphasized the remarkable progress achieved under Yogi Adityanath’s stewardship, particularly highlighting the ‘One District, One Product’ initiative. He lauded this mission for fostering industrial development and garnering national recognition for the state. The Prime Minister acknowledged the perception of Yogi Adityanath being associated primarily with bulldozers, but he asserted that the Chief Minister’s commitment to development was far more extensive.
Prime Minister Modi went on to highlight the increased Haj quota granted by Saudi Arabia to Indian Muslims. He credited his personal request to the Crown Prince for this positive outcome, noting that the visa process for pilgrims has also been streamlined. This decision, he emphasized, was a testament to his government’s dedication to facilitating religious observances for Muslim citizens.
The Aligarh Lok Sabha seat, along with several other constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, will participate in the upcoming polls during the second phase on April 26. Uttar Pradesh, the most populous state in India, holds significant representation in Parliament, contributing 80 MPs to the 543-member body.
