Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has achieved a remarkable milestone on social media, surpassing 100 million followers on X (formerly Twitter). PM Modi’s account has witnessed an impressive growth of nearly 30 million followers in the past three years, showcasing his expansive global reach and influence.

Expressing his delight over this significant feat, PM Modi posted on X, “A hundred million on @X! It’s noteworthy that PM Modi has not only established himself as the Prime Minister of the most populous nation globally for the third consecutive term but also emerged as one of the most popular figures worldwide. He holds the second spot for most followed leaders on X, trailing former US President Barack Obama, who has 31.7 million more followers than the Indian Prime Minister on the microblogging platform.

PM Modi is followed by his former US counterpart, Donald Trump, who boasts 87.4 million followers on X. US President Joe Biden holds the fourth position with 38.1 million followers, followed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan with 21.5 million followers. Notably, the Indian Prime Minister even surpasses global celebrities like Taylor Swift (95.3 million), Lady Gaga (83.1 million), and Kim Kardashian (75.2 million).
