PM Modi Sworn In for Third Term, Making History

Today’s swearing-in ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhawan marked a historic moment as Narendra Modi became the first Prime Minister after former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru to be elected for a third consecutive term. Alongside Prime Minister Modi, members of his council of ministers also took their oath of office. Rashtrapati Bhawan remained under three-tier security until June 11, ensuring the safety of all attendees. The Delhi-NCT area was declared a no-fly zone to prevent the use of drones and similar devices. Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi took the oath at 7:15 pm, marking the commencement of his third term as India’s Prime Minister. The ceremony was attended by several national and international dignitaries, including top leaders from Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives.
