Meanwhile, in Haryana, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will kickstart its ‘Maha Jansampark Abhiyan’ on August 25th. This campaign aims to engage with voters and strengthen the party’s presence ahead of the state elections scheduled for October 1st. The BJP plans to open election offices in almost 20,000 booths across Haryana. This initiative represents a major effort to connect with voters on a grassroots level and solidify the BJP’s position in the state. The party is currently serving its second term in Haryana.
As PM Modi embarks on his multi-state journey, another region faces challenges. Nagaland is on high alert due to heavy rainfall predicted by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) until August 25th. An orange alert has been issued for the state, indicating the potential for intense showers. The IMD weather update also states that Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura are likely to experience heavy rainfall on specific dates.
