Pokémon Go’s annual ‘Sustainability Week’ event is live from April 22-26, encouraging players to embrace eco-friendly habits while exploring the world.
Although specific boosted spawns are absent, the event compensates with generous bonuses centering around buddy Pokémon. Buddies will become more generous with presents and souvenirs, accompany players for longer durations after feeding, and earn hearts from walking at double the usual rate. Combee, Drilbur, Trubbish, Foongus, and Binacle hatched from eggs during the event will also have elevated shiny chances.
The event also incorporates Collection Challenges with rewards and event-exclusive field research tasks. By completing these challenges, players can earn substantial XP and Stardust rewards. Additionally, spinning PokéStops during the event period may result in sustainability-themed field research tasks.
Join the Sustainability Week festivities in Pokémon Go for a chance to enhance your buddy’s abilities, hatch rare shiny Pokémon, advance your Collection Challenges, and contribute to the game’s green initiatives.
