Pope John’s Samantha Piotrowsky had a field day against Newark Academy, scoring six goals and dishing out three assists to power her team to a 15-11 victory. Keira Donegan also chipped in with a hat-trick and two assists, along with seven draw controls for Pope John. Leah Gerkhardt added four goals and an assist, while Bella Bucur made eight saves in goal.
On the other side of the field, Chloe Rosner led Newark Academy’s offense with six goals and two assists, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Pope John’s offensive onslaught.
