The post-apocalyptic film, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, has achieved remarkable success in its initial 15 days of release, accumulating an estimated ₹ 543.35 crore in net earnings across India. The film, directed by Nag Ashwin, has captured the hearts of fans and the film industry alike with its performances and captivating narrative. Drawing inspiration from Hindu scriptures, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ unfolds in the futuristic setting of the year 2898 AD. The film features a stellar cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Disha Patani, who contribute to the grand mythology-infused sci-fi narrative. The film, previously known as ‘Project K,’ seamlessly merges elements from the Hindu epic Mahabharata with science fiction.
