Prajwal Revanna Sex Scandal: Victim Alleges Sexual Assault by Father-Son Duo
In a disturbing turn of events, a victim in the Prajwal Revanna sex scandal has come forward to share her harrowing experiences. The woman, who worked as a cook in Revanna’s residence, has alleged that both Revanna and his father, former MLA HD Revanna, engaged in sexual assault against female employees.
According to the victim’s statement in the FIR, a sense of apprehension gripped the household whenever Prajwal returned home. Even male colleagues warned her to be cautious. She claims that HD Revanna would sexually assault women by touching them under the guise of giving them fruits when his wife was absent. He is also accused of removing saree pins and groping women.
Moreover, the victim alleges that Prajwal also misbehaved with her daughter during a video call. This incident, she says, crossed a line and prompted her to file a complaint. The victim’s daughter subsequently blocked Prajwal’s number after repeated calls.
SIT Formed to Investigate Allegations
Following a letter from the Chairperson of the Women’s Commission, the Karnataka government has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the allegations against Revanna. The team, led by IPS officer Vijay Kumar Singh, will investigate the case, which has been registered under sections 354 A, 354 D, 506, and 509 of the IPC.
Prajwal Revanna, the grandson of former Prime Minister H. D. Devegowda, is a two-term MP from the Hassan constituency and is contesting in the upcoming elections against Congress candidate Shreyas M. Patel, the grandson of G. Puttaswamy Gowda.
