Amidst the ongoing investigation into the sex tape case allegedly involving Prajwal Revanna, the Karnataka MP, a notable development has emerged. Revanna has requested seven additional days to appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the matter. This request stems from his current absence from Bengaluru.
Prajwal Revanna’s decision to seek an extension comes shortly after the SIT summoned him for questioning within 24 hours. The investigation centers around a cache of explicit videos and photographs, purportedly belonging to Revanna, that went viral on social media during the recent election campaign. In response to these allegations, the Karnataka government formed the SIT to ascertain their veracity.
Meanwhile, at the residence of HD Revanna, Prajwal’s father and a former Karnataka Minister, a ‘Havan’ ceremony took place amidst the scorching summer heat. This ritual is significant in Hindu tradition, often performed to invoke divine blessings and purify the surroundings.
Adding another layer to the case, a former cook and relative of HD Revanna and Prajwal Revanna has filed a complaint against them, alleging sexual harassment. The complainant claims that Prajwal Revanna made inappropriate video calls to her daughter, prompting her to block his contact.
The investigation into the sex tape case and the related allegations of sexual harassment are ongoing, with further developments expected in the coming days.
