The conference celebrated the brand’s remarkable 20-year journey under the ownership of the Ueberroth family and served as a platform to showcase the power of independent hotels in shaping the future of hospitality.
The esteemed GIFTTS Pineapple Awards were bestowed upon member hotels that exemplify genuine hospitality and social responsibility through the Great Initiatives for Today’s (Tomorrow’s) Society (GIFTTS) program. Nearly 100 properties competed in four categories, and the winners demonstrated exceptional commitment to philanthropy, sustainability, and community impact.
The Preferred Awards of Excellence honored member hotels that embody excellence in various aspects of hospitality. Over 600 hotels across 80 countries participated, and the winners were recognized in 11 categories, including New Hotel of the Year, I Prefer Hotel of the Year, and the Shiji ReviewPro Award for Online Reputation Management.
