Royal author Robert Jobson has revealed that Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, are reportedly “upset” by concerns surrounding their hasty marriage. According to OK! Magazine, a source claims the couple is still deeply affected by the loss of family relations stemming from their union and wishes things were different. The magazine cited reports that Prince William, Harry’s older brother, had advised him to take things slowly after he met Meghan at the Invictus Games in 2016. These claims have reignited speculation about their marriage and whether it was a rushed decision.
Despite the persistent rumors, Harry and Meghan are choosing to focus on their present and building a positive future together. “It upsets Harry and Meghan when this is mentioned as they’re still together, very happy and have two gorgeous children. They knew from the start how they felt and they believe their marriage is a true love story and how they’ve overcome so much to be together,” the source told OK! Magazine.
However, the constant scrutiny surrounding their marriage and the pressure to constantly prove their happiness does take its toll on the couple. “It still pains them to this day and they wish it wasn’t like this – but they have no choice. They have to remain strong for each other, as that’s the only way they can get through all the speculation and criticism,” the source added.
