Prince Harry Open to Reconciliation, but Faces Resistance from Royals

Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, has signaled a willingness to reconcile with the Royal Family but is facing renewed opposition, according to former royal correspondent Jennie Bond.

Bond reports that Harry, who previously aired his grievances through his revealing memoir, ‘Spare,’ and his Netflix docuseries, ‘Harry & Meghan,’ is now experiencing a change of heart.

However, Bond notes that the situation has become more complicated. Initially, Harry demanded an apology for perceived affronts to his wife, Meghan Markle, as a precondition for reconciliation. However, now it is King Charles and Prince William who appear to be resisting reconciliation.

Earlier this month, Prince Harry visited London to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, sparking fresh speculation about a potential reconciliation with his family. However, reports emerged that the monarch declined Harry’s request for a meeting, which had been made a month prior to his visit to the UK.

Harry’s spokesperson stated that the Duke understood his father’s prior commitments and busy schedule, which prevented the meeting from taking place. It is worth noting that earlier this month, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Nigeria at the invitation of Nigeria’s Chief of Defense Staff, Christopher Musa.
