Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, is reportedly considering purchasing properties in the UK. This move could potentially allow him to visit more frequently and even initiate peace talks with his family. Sources suggest that while Harry enjoys his life in Montecito, California, with his wife Meghan Markle, he is experiencing homesickness.
Kinsey Schofield, host of the “To Di For Daily” podcast, shared her insights with Fox News Digital, stating, “I hear that Harry is both content with his new lifestyle and homesick.” Regarding Markle, Schofield added, “I don’t even think she has any desire to win them [Royal family] over again. Meghan is totally focused on winning over the elite in Hollywood.” Schofield also claimed that Markle “feels rejected by the UK and that does not sit well with her.”
Prince Harry’s relationship with his family has been strained since he stepped down from royal duties in 2020 and relocated to California with his wife. They cited unbearable media intrusions and racist attitudes as their reasons for leaving. Earlier this year, Harry made a brief visit to London after King Charles III was diagnosed with a type of cancer. Following the trip, Harry told US television that he believed such health concerns could bring his family closer.
Grant Harrold, King Charles III’s former butler, previously told the New York Post that Harry had been considering buying property in the UK. “It’s something that he’s wanted and been thinking about…Now he’s probably made the decision, that’s what he wants. Not having a home in the UK was probably a joint decision initially, but as time goes on, people’s views and decisions can change,” Harrold said. However, Schofield told Fox News that Harry “won’t make any drastic or financial moves until he settles his security issues.”
Schofield further elaborated, “I hear that Harry is both content with his new lifestyle and homesick…It just depends on the day. I’m sure Harry could get homesick, and we know that he is prone to wearing his heart on his sleeve. Meghan has likely permitted him to try to establish an additional residence in the UK if that will make him happy, but I doubt she has any desire to participate in the process or visit.”
