Buckingham Palace has announced that Princess Beatrice is expecting her second child with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The happy couple, who married in a beautiful ceremony at Windsor Castle in July 2020, are already parents to daughter Sienna Elizabeth, born in September 2021. The news was shared on the Royal Family’s official social media channels with a heartwarming message: “Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce that they are expecting their second child in early 2024. The new baby will join their daughter Sienna Elizabeth and Edoardo’s son, Wolfie. The King and Queen have been informed and are delighted with the news.” The post also included a photo of the couple embracing, and another of Mozzi walking with both children through a forest.
Beatrice is also a stepmother to Mozzi’s son, Christopher Woolf, from a previous relationship. The couple recently celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary, with Mozzi sharing a sweet tribute on Instagram. He posted a wedding photo and wrote, “Happy Anniversary to my love. Every day with you is special. I love you.”
The news of Princess Beatrice’s pregnancy comes at a time of great change for the British Royal Family, following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II and the ascension of King Charles III. This exciting new addition will no doubt bring much joy to the family and the nation alike.
