Princess Beatrice’s Ex-Boyfriend, Paolo Liuzzo, Found Dead in Miami Hotel
Paolo Liuzzo, the former boyfriend of Princess Beatrice, was found dead in a Miami hotel on February 7th at the age of 41. The Miami Police Department is investigating the incident as an overdose death. Liuzzo, the son of an Italian plastic resin tycoon, dated Beatrice in 2005.
Sources close to Liuzzo revealed that he had accumulated significant debt and struggled with gambling problems. When Liuzzo began dating Beatrice, she was 17 years old, while he was 24. Princess Beatrice’s mother, Sarah Ferguson, commented at the time, “We all have our own journeys and have to learn our way but Beatrice is a sensible girl, soon to be 18, with many friends including Paolo.”
After the news of her ex-boyfriend’s death, Princess Beatrice has not yet publicly commented. Beatrice married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in 2020 and welcomed their first child, Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi, in September 2021.
