Princeton Day School’s girls lacrosse team celebrated a decisive 17-10 victory over Somerville, with Kelly Christie emerging as the star of the game. Christie, a varsity player for the past four years, showcased her exceptional skills by scoring a career-high six goals. This remarkable performance brings her total career points to an impressive 98.
Tessa Caputo also played a pivotal role in Princeton Day’s success, contributing five goals to the winning tally. The team’s dominance was further solidified in the third quarter, where they outscored Somerville 5-1, effectively putting the game out of reach.
This victory marks Princeton Day’s seventh win of the season, placing them firmly in contention. The team’s record now stands at 7-2, a testament to their determination and prowess on the field.
