Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh, an Iranian all-rounder, became the most expensive overseas buy, acquired by Haryana Steelers for a whopping Rs 2.07 crore. His senior compatriot, Fazel Atrachali, followed closely behind, securing a spot with Bengal Warriorz for Rs 50 lakh.
Jang Kun Lee, a player from the Republic of Korea, made a return to PKL after a four-year absence, being picked up by Patna Pirates for Rs 17.50 lakh. Additionally, two players from Thailand, one from Bangladesh, and one from Chinese Taipei will be part of the upcoming season.
