Protests Erupt Outside Trump Trial Courtroom with Heated Exchanges and Police Intervention

Protests intensified outside the New York City courtroom where the trial of former President Trump is taking place on Thursday. A group of Trump supporters gathered in front of the courthouse, and tensions escalated when they encountered protesters backing his possible conviction in the case. Video footage captured by Fox News Digital shows police intervening to separate the two groups after the pro-Trump demonstrators surrounded the anti-Trump protesters.

One pro-Trump protester, wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat, shouted insults at an anti-Trump protester holding signs that read, “Trump is a danger to us all” and “Do not let Trump make a fool of you.” The anti-Trump protester attempted to block a protester holding a flag that read, “F— Joe Biden.”

Other pro-Trump protesters joined in on demanding that the anti-Trump protester leave. One pro-Trump protester grabbed and ripped up one of the anti-Trump signs, while another yelled repeatedly, “Knock her down!”

Police eventually broke up the altercation, but it is unclear at this time if any arrests were made. The jury continued deliberations on Thursday, with Judge Juan Merchan rereading the deliberation instructions and rehearing testimony from Michael Cohen and David Pecker.

The outcome of the trial is still pending. Follow Fox News for updates on this developing story.
