Proto, the groundbreaking hologram device and platform, has taken its holographic marvels to a new level at JFK Terminal 4, managed by JFKIAT. In a thrilling development, America’s Got Talent star Howie Mandel will beam in live, surprising and entertaining travelers. This expanded presence of Proto at the terminal includes an immersive holographic presentation led by Bronx Zoo Director Jim Breheny, introducing fascinating animals like sloths, alligators, pelicans, and warthogs. Proto’s state-of-the-art units project life-size, volumetric 4K images, making it appear as if the subjects are physically present in the terminal. These holograms engage travelers in real-time interactions, creating a truly memorable experience.
Mandel, who previously recorded a hologram explaining Terminal 4’s T4 Arts & Culture program and Proto technology, will now interact with travelers live for the first time. His enthusiasm for Proto is evident in his statement: “Excited about traveling through JFK Terminal 4 today. My airline of choice is Proto. I love to travel without traveling – Beam me there!”
Proto’s advanced AI capabilities are continuously being explored to enhance traveler experiences. “There’s something magical about witnessing Proto holograms for the first time,” said David Nussbaum, Inventor and CEO of Proto Inc. “At JFK Terminal 4, people from all over the world experience this magic every day. It’s a dream come true to showcase New York’s finest through our holograms in this extraordinary space.”
Proto has graced renowned New York landmarks like Lincoln Center, Rockefeller Center, Moynihan Station, NYU, and Barclays Center by the Brooklyn Nets. The Los Angeles-based company holds the patent for hologram machines and the secure platform that enables holoportation. Proto’s diverse clientele spans enterprise, education, entertainment, healthcare, telecommunications, sports, the arts, and retail, including industry giants such as Amazon AWS, Verizon, Accenture, PwC, Christie’s, and NBC Universal.
