The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) in Faridkot, Punjab, has released the provisional merit list for the Punjab National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2024. The list, published on August 20, 2024, is available on the university’s official website, bfuhs.ac.in.
Candidates who took the NEET 2024 exam can now access the merit list to view their ranks and scores. This information is crucial as they prepare for the upcoming counseling rounds for admission to medical colleges in Punjab.
The provisional merit list includes details such as the candidate’s name, NEET enrollment number, obtained rank, and scores. It also displays the father’s name, category applied, and the quota. Candidates are advised to carefully check the information provided and submit any objections by 5 pm on August 21, 2024. Objections must be submitted in person along with relevant documents at the admission branch of BFUHS, Faridkot.
Following the objection submission deadline, the revised merit list (if necessary) will be published on August 23, 2024. The first round of counseling will begin shortly after, with the choice filling process concluding on August 24, 2024. Seat allotment will start on August 25 and end on August 27, 2024, with the final seat allotment results announced on August 28, 2024.
Candidates who have made it onto the merit list will need to participate in the seat allotment process based on the availability of seats, their marks, and their preferences. The counseling fee is set at Rs 2,500 for general category candidates and Rs 2,950 for others.
