The message, addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu, highlights the importance of the strategic partnership between India and Russia.
Putin’s congratulatory statement comes just weeks after his meeting with Prime Minister Modi in Moscow for the annual India-Russia summit. During the summit, the two leaders discussed various aspects of bilateral cooperation and agreed to further strengthen their ties.
In his message, Putin expressed his confidence that the implementation of agreements reached during the Moscow summit would contribute to the growth of multifaceted cooperation between Russia and India. Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Moscow in July included the co-chairing of the 22nd India-Russia annual summit with Putin and an interaction with the Indian community in the Russian capital.
