Audio enthusiasts rejoice, as Q Acoustics has finally announced the next generation of its popular 3000i speaker series. The 3000c collection, unveiled at the High End Munich audio trade show, offers a combination of captivating design and accessible pricing, making it an ideal entry point into the world of high-fidelity audio or a cost-effective upgrade for existing systems.
The 3000c lineup comprises five models, catering to various room sizes and configurations. The 3010c bookshelf speakers are perfect for smaller spaces, while the 3020c and 3030c standmount models provide a larger soundstage for medium-sized rooms. For those seeking a truly immersive experience, the 3050c floorstanders deliver powerful, room-filling audio. And to complete home theater setups, the 3090c center channel ensures crystal-clear dialogue reproduction.
At the heart of the 3000c series lies Q Acoustics’ proprietary C3 (Continuous Curved Cone) midrange/bass driver design, which debuted in the premium 5000 series and M40 powered micro towers. This innovative technology enhances bass dynamics for improved sound quality in the mid and low ranges while ensuring seamless integration with the high-frequency driver. The C3 design also grants greater flexibility in speaker placement, allowing users to position them closer to walls without compromising sound performance.
Beyond the cutting-edge driver design, the 3000c speakers inherit design elements from Q Acoustics’ Concept 300 and Concept 500 ranges. The Q Acoustics 3000c speaker collection will be available for purchase starting August 2024, with prices ranging from $399 for the 3010c bookshelf speakers to $1,199 for the 3050c floorstanders. The collection will also be offered in two 5.1 channel home theater bundles, with pricing to be announced at a later date.
