Rahul Gandhi Accuses Prajwal Revanna of Mass Rape, Blames BJP for Support

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has launched a scathing attack on Hassan MP and JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna, accusing him of ‘mass rape’ and blaming the BJP for supporting him despite knowing about the allegations against him.

During an election rally, Gandhi stated, “Prajwal Revanna rapes 400 women and makes videos of it.” He also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi, echoing the sentiments expressed by Priyanka Gandhi, who had accused Modi of supporting a “mass rapist” on stage.

Gandhi demanded that Modi apologize to women and called for the immediate arrest of the accused.

Meanwhile, Karnataka Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara announced that a lookout circular has been issued to apprehend Revanna, who is currently abroad. The minister stated that there is no provision to grant more than 24 hours for the accused to appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the case.

Revanna, the grandson of former Prime Minister and JD(S) patriarch H.D. Deve Gowda, is facing allegations of sexual harassment from multiple women. Explicit video clips involving the MP have reportedly been circulating in Hassan in recent days.

The SIT is currently investigating the case, and the minister has stated that legal opinions are being sought regarding the request for additional time to appear before the team. Parameshwara also disclosed that a second victim has come forward and lodged a complaint against Revanna.

The accusations against Revanna have sparked outrage and condemnation from various quarters. Gandhi’s statements have further escalated the controversy, highlighting the urgent need for justice and accountability in the case.
