Rahul Gandhi Accuses Prime Minister of Waiving Off Billionaire Friends’ Loans

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has launched a scathing attack on the Prime Minister, accusing him of waiving off loans worth Rs 16 lakh crore of his billionaire friends. Gandhi, in a post written in Hindi on social media, claimed that this colossal sum could have been utilized to alleviate the suffering of the Indian people but was instead squandered on creating hype for individuals like the ‘Adanis’.

Gandhi elaborated on the potential uses of this vast amount of money, stating that it could have created 16 crore jobs for youth at a salary of Rs 1 lakh per year. It could have transformed the lives of 16 crore women by providing them with an annual stipend of Rs 1 lakh, and prevented countless farmer suicides by waiving off their loans. Additionally, it could have provided gas cylinders for the entire country at a subsidized rate of Rs 400 for 20 years and covered the expenses of the Indian Army for three years.

Gandhi further asserted that this money could have made education free up to graduation for every youth from Dalit, tribal, and backward communities. He condemned the government’s actions, stating that the money that could have been used to heal the pain of Indians was spent on creating hype for a select few like the Adanis.

Charging that the Prime Minister had committed a ‘crime’, Gandhi vowed that the Congress party would work to ensure that the government serves the interests of all Indians.
