Rahul Gandhi Gifts Barber Who Trimmed His Beard During Campaign

Three months after a visit to a barber’s shop in his Lok Sabha constituency, Raebareli, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has shown his appreciation by sending a thoughtful gift. The barber, Mithun, had the honor of trimming Rahul Gandhi’s beard and hair during the Lok Sabha election campaign.

Mithun was pleasantly surprised to receive the gift, which included a shampoo chair, two hair-cutting chairs, and an inverter battery. He expressed his gratitude to Rahul Gandhi for the generous gesture. The gift was delivered to Mithun’s shop in Brijendra Nagar, Raebareli.

The Congress leader’s gesture has been praised by party officials. Anshu Awasthi, spokesperson for the Uttar Pradesh Congress, highlighted Rahul Gandhi’s commitment to connecting with people from all walks of life. He emphasized that Gandhi’s actions encourage political leaders, social sector workers, and Congress party members to provide support and encouragement to those who work hard.

This is not the first time Rahul Gandhi has extended a kind gesture to someone he met during his campaign. In July, he made an unscheduled visit to Ram Chet’s cobbler shop in Sultanpur and gifted him a sewing machine. This act of generosity further underscores Rahul Gandhi’s commitment to recognizing the contributions of ordinary people.
