It is a revolutionary manifesto,’ Rahul Gandhi remarked, eliciting laughter and chants of ‘Rahul Gandhi.’ Gandhi’s remarks came in response to Modi’s accusation that the Congress manifesto promotes ‘wealth distribution,’ a claim that Gandhi strongly refuted. Gandhi asserted that the Congress manifesto is focused on providing economic justice to all sections of society and that it has caused Modi to ‘panic.’ He further stated that the Congress is committed to implementing the manifesto’s promises if elected to power.
