The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has announced the final results for the Forest Guard Direct Recruitment Examination 2020. This recruitment process aimed to fill a total of 2,646 vacancies, with 2,167 positions allocated to non-scheduled areas and 479 in scheduled areas.
The initial notification for the recruitment was released on November 11, 2020, with subsequent revisions issued on March 11, 2022, and December 21, 2022. The examination results were declared on September 18, 2023. Following the declaration of results, the Forest Department conducted a thorough eligibility check from September 25 to October 2, 2023, to ensure all candidates met the criteria based on advertised posts, category-wise preferences, and document verification.
As a result of this comprehensive process, 1,291 candidates from non-scheduled areas and 418 from scheduled areas were finalized and recommended for appointment on December 6, 2023, and January 11, 2024, respectively. A further round of eligibility checks was conducted for 1,043 candidates from July 26 to July 30, 2024.
