Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling 2024: Revised Schedule Announced, First Round Results on August 30

The Rajasthan State Medical and Dental Counselling Board has announced a revised schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2024 counselling process. This revised schedule impacts the crucial first round of seat allotment, which is now set to be declared on the evening of August 30, 2024.

The delay in the announcement of the first round results is to give candidates more time to complete all necessary formalities. Initially, the results were scheduled for August 29, 2024, and the reporting process was set to begin on August 30, 2024. However, the counselling board extended the deadlines to accommodate students.

Candidates who applied for the first round of counselling can print their online application forms after autolocking their choices until August 29, 2024. The deadline for paying the security deposit was extended until 3:00 PM on August 28, 2024, and the choice-filling process was open until 11:45 PM on the same day.

Important Information

The Rajasthan NEET UG counselling process will consist of four rounds to fill 85% of the state quota seats in medical and dental colleges. These rounds are:

* Round 2
* Mop-Up Round
* Stray Vacancy Round

If seats remain vacant after these four rounds, the counselling board may announce additional rounds of admission.

Joining Procedure

Candidates allotted seats in Government medical colleges, RajMES, RUHS CMS, ESIC Medical Colleges, RUHS CDS, and all private medical colleges, as well as dental colleges, are required to report in person for document verification and fee deposition. The joining process involves submitting original documents, a requisite bond, and the prescribed one-year tuition fee via Demand Draft or electronic mode. Additionally, candidates must provide two copies of their application form along with self-attested copies of all relevant documents.

This procedure is scheduled to take place from August 5, 2023, to August 8, 2023, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, at the Academic Block of SMS Medical College, Jaipur for medical colleges and at the Government Dental College, Jaipur for dental colleges.
