Rajasthan Royals Thrash Mumbai Indians Led by Jaiswal’s Century

Opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal led Rajasthan Royals to a stunning 9-wicket victory against Mumbai Indians in Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium.

Jaiswal remained unbeaten on an impressive 104, helping his team chase down the 180-run target with ease. Jos Buttler contributed 35 runs, and skipper Sanju Samson remained unbeaten on 38, guiding Rajasthan Royals to the victory in just 18.4 overs.

Earlier, Sandeep Sharma’s exceptional bowling restricted Mumbai Indians to 179/9 in 20 overs. Sharma bagged five wickets for just 19 runs, marking his best IPL performance. Despite a 99-run partnership between Tilak Varma and Nehal Wadhera, Mumbai’s innings was hindered by Sharma’s brilliance.

Varma emerged as the standout performer for Mumbai, scoring 65 off 43 balls. Yuzvendra Chahal achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the first player to claim 200 wickets in the Indian Premier League (IPL) during the match.
