Rajkot Gaming Room Fire Death Toll Rises to 27, SIT Investigation Initiated

Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi, who visited the site early on May 26, announced that an SIT investigation has been initiated into the matter and will commence immediately. All officials and authorities with responsibilities related to the construction and operation of the gaming zone have been instructed to be present at the Collector’s office by 3 am today for questioning and assistance in the investigation. Minister Sanghvi expressed deep sorrow over the loss of life, particularly the young children who perished in the incident. He emphasized the urgency of the investigation and the need to swiftly bring those responsible to justice. This tragic event has shocked and saddened the community, and the ongoing investigation aims to provide answers and ensure accountability for this devastating loss.
