Rajnath Singh: India-China Talks Progressing Well, Nation Stands Firm

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh expressed optimism on Sunday regarding the ongoing talks between India and China. Singh asserted that India has become a formidable military power and is committed to maintaining good relations with its neighbors. He responded to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s criticism of the Narendra Modi government’s handling of Chinese aggression by stating that India has not and will not yield to external pressures. Singh emphasized India’s unwavering military strength and its aspiration to produce defense items indigenously. The minister also expressed confidence in the future growth of India’s defense exports, which have recently crossed the Rs 21,000 crore mark. He highlighted the Modi government’s dedication to ensuring the domestic production of defense equipment, including missiles, weapons, bombs, and tanks. Singh expressed satisfaction with the country’s defense production, which has now surpassed Rs 1 lakh crore in value. The minister’s remarks underscore India’s determination to maintain its military strength, pursue peaceful relations with its neighbors, and enhance its defense export capabilities.
