Ramapo College’s baseball team displayed remarkable resilience and offensive prowess in their recent encounter with Northern Highlands, emerging victorious with an 8-6 score. The Raiders’ triumph was orchestrated by a series of timely hits and RBIs, particularly during the final three innings of the game.
After initially trailing, Ramapo seized their first lead in the bottom of the fifth inning, setting the stage for a decisive sixth inning. The Raiders’ offensive explosion in the sixth inning resulted in five runs, extending their lead to a commanding six-run advantage.
Despite Northern Highlands’ valiant attempt to rally with four runs in the top of the seventh inning, Ramapo’s defense remained steadfast, ultimately denying the Highlanders the opportunity to draw closer.
