Ramapo Softball Rolls Past Ridgefield Park

Freshman pitcher Trinity Horn delivered a stellar performance on the mound, striking out six batters and allowing only one walk in Ramapo’s 13-2 triumph over Ridgefield Park. With this win, Horn improved her season record to 7-1 for Ramapo (9-4), who continue to impress on the field.

The offense came alive in the fifth inning, with Ramapo scoring an impressive eight runs. Maddie Saxton’s grand slam was a pivotal moment in the game, adding four crucial runs to Ramapo’s tally. Freshman right fielder Therese Adams contributed two hits and two runs, while Sofia Ciarlo added a two-run homer to Ramapo’s offensive outburst.

Ridgefield Park, despite the loss, put up a valiant effort, but the offensive firepower of Ramapo proved to be too much to overcome. The result brought Ridgefield Park’s record to 12-3. The N.J.
