Manchester United will be without Marcus Rashford for their Premier League clash against Sheffield United tonight due to an injury sustained in the FA Cup match against Coventry. The England international was substituted off in the 97th minute of Sunday’s game with a suspected injury and was seen limping through the mixed zone after the game.
With a growing injury list, Erik ten Hag will be without Rashford and will start Antony instead. The Brazilian has yet to score a single league goal in 25 appearances this season.
Ten Hag is battling with injury issues all over the pitch and has had to resort to playing Casemiro at center-back as a result. The former Real Madrid man started in the role on Sunday and has been forced as an emergency option next to Harry Maguire given the sheer number of injured players at Old Trafford.
Maguire is the only senior central defender available to Ten Hag, meaning rookie youth prospect Louis Jackson has been called to the bench for the second game running.
